Tell the federal government: Keep violent offenders behind bars!

Everyone deserves to feel safe in their community. Here in British Columbia, David Eby's BC NDP team has hired 250 new police officers and restored a program to stop repeat offenders. Statistics Canada data shows that BC’s crime rate dropped 11% last year, the biggest improvement of any province.

We've been pushing for the federal government to change Canada's bail rules and keep violent offenders behind bars — and they're listening. They've promised to bring forward legislation this year, but we need to keep the pressure on to make sure it becomes law.
