We’re making it easier to recycle the things you use every day.
We’re keeping more products out of our landfills to help our environment.
Our BC NDP government has expanded what you can recycle in your blue box at home, and at recycling depots, so that fewer things you use every day end up in the landfill.
Now, you can recycle plastic cutlery, straws and dishes in your blue box, along with aluminum foil and aluminum baking trays. And that plastic baggie you packed your sandwich in? You can take that to a recycling depot, along with flexible bubble wrap, plastic bags, and plastic shopping bags.
This is one way we can all help our environment and keep more things out of the landfill, while making it even easier for folks to recycle.
